linking to join pages?!?!
 

ok.. this isnt exactly a spam.. but more of a general idea of what you ppl think about linking to join pages..

I have added the option to link to join pages.. but I am affraid to release it to all affiliates right now..

I have heard good and bad things about it..

pros- better conversions.. gives the affiliate more room to play with on promoting the site.
cons- I could get used, and abused by cheating scumbags, and taken advantage of..

any thoughts?

I personally never did it, its better for webmasters who build there own tours to use, then they can link right to the join page.

I have not heard to many nightmares about this. Almost all the programs allow this now.

How can you get used and abused by cheaters this way?

Peeps can 1) Promote the wrong niche, 2) Say there are 5 million full length videos, etc. etc.

Will lose the rebills or have chargebacks, if not promoted correctly.

well..

maybe the affiliate can make a really misleading tour.. or tell the surfer they get this this and this when they only get this..
or tell the surfer to cancel right away and they still get the per signup cash, and i lose my ass on a free trial.. im sure there are many more ways todo it..

Well personally I KNOW that it's the best way to allow some of your pro affiliates do their thang....


BUT, the risk you run when letting that go out to everyone is that the people you don't know start running fraudulent fpa's/front ends for your site or using some illegal refs' etc....

I'd have the option, but for those that ask for it that you KNOW or someone that you've had in your program for a while that you trust can be an adult and not do shit that'll be 'iffy' on the promo side...
