Useful Tool Series: Digital BBQ Tongs

Now, these might come in handy for novices or for those who are too paranoid if the meat they are grilling is done. Sensors in the tip measure the internal temperature of the meat and sound an alarm when it is cooked.

    Would you buy it?

    I would not buy it.
Usually I slice the meat with a knife to check if it's bloody or not.
If there is not much blood, I say the meat is cooked enough.

Well, some purists check he temperature INSIDE the meat to see if it's done. I guess this item fails because it will be hard to pierce the skin without turning this stuff you're grilling into something like pulled pork meat.
