          No longer a big UFC fan. I prefer Strikeforce. But I hope Lesnar gets submitted. I don't think he has much in the way of technique.

                  LMFAO that's like me saying I'm not a big fan of the NFL, I prefer arena/canadian football. Lesnar will win via Ground N' Pound, another victim of the hamburger hill.

                      I will go with you on what i would want for the night Nick. Lesnar needs to have his ass handed to him in the 1st round, and Leben, just because I think you could break a concrete block over his head and he would still come back, amazing durability. And on the Prelim fight being fight of the night, happens all the time now, would not think that to be a bad prediction, the Big boys are only hype, Carwin has so much more skill than Lesnar, all day. Will be a fun night regardless.

                          I guess I look at it a bit differently than you do... I think a lot of the top fighters in the UFC are mostly hype. I don't like the executive management nor do I like the way they treat their fighters or others in the sport. That's just the way I see it.

                              I'd love to see Lesnar get his head handed to him. If Carwin presses Brock against the cage and pick him apart, like he did to Mir, that would be awesome.

                              Carwin will need to make this a stand up fight if he's to win. I don't know if he has the take down defense needed to stop Brock from making this a ground fight. If it does go to the ground which seems inevitable, Brock will just be able to use his weight and his ground and pound to win this one.

                                          Verdum winning over emilianenko shows ufc's fighters are just simply better...
                                          Verdum's contract with ufc was not renewed because he couldnt win.. than wins over "wannabe" world champion emilianenko...

                                          About leben, much respect for the guy's stamina and chin... Would love to see him go down though... his face just asks for a knock out banger

                                              Yeah I like most of the fighters. I've seen every TUF episode there was and used to be a huge fan since the days of the very first UFC (before the current management took over). But seeing all the shit with Dana White and the crap like threatening Tapout if they allowed Fedor to make a lousy shirt with them pissed me off.

                                                  Werdum himself called Fedor the best fighter in the world after the match. Lesnar has what - Five fights on his professional MMA record? And didn't he lose to Mir by submission -- pretty much what happened to Fedor? Then look at Fedor. The guy went TEN YEARS being undefeated. This was his first real loss. Put it in perspective. I find it funny that a guy like LEsnar supposedly is considered one of the best MMA fighters and somehow a guy like Fedor is "fake".

                                                  And BTW, Werdum wasn't technically cut from the UFC. The story I heard was that after losing one match Dana approached his management demanding to essentially cut his pay by 50%. Werdum's team refused and essentially left the UFC.

                                                                                                      Even tho Lesnar is a home boy I can see where he would rub folks wrong. Kind of a meathead is his image from the wrestling I guess. Plus he acts the buffoon too.

                                                                                                      Boy that is gonna be a good one tho. Carwin is undefeated but has he gone against a "Lesnar" 265 LBs of pure muscle. I will take Lesnar altho I think Carwin is around 240+ and has looked great.

                                                                                                      But who knows size isnt everything and he is close to Lesnar's size. Take a guy at least 240 tho to take Lesnar most times otherwise he just bulldozes ya.

He's fun to watch and now days ya got to root for those guys as the matches have been a bit lackluster lately.

                                                                                                                  Hype is a big thing. You need colorful American characters like Leben rather than guys who we cant understand when they are talking to Rogan after. I mean is Anderson Silva a F'n bore after he wins or what. Not to mention a major league flakey dude. Could be a culture thing. Still HE is who I want to see go down.

                                                                                                                  I root for any American over a Brazilian so they dont totally dominate the sport.. and usually lose altho lately the Brazilians have lost a couple lately.

                                                                                                                      Werdum probably has the best BJJ in all of MMA. Just google what he's accomplished in BJJ. I believe Nogueira is the only one to go to the ground with him and still win (by decision).
