I purchased a few of his guitars from him while he was doped up and in need of cash.

This particular one is probably his most famous. I think that I had authorization to pay upwards of $10k, but he was desperate and offered it up for about 1/4 of that.

I felt bad knowing his situation, but the guy I was working with was a junkie too and had no sympathy. Some of the money we saved would eventually find it's way into his syringe, which made more sense...to him at least. :1orglaugh

He was clean for a while. Is that still working out for him?

I think the way to stay in touch with beauty is to visit an art gallery.

I like art. At home a have a few local pieces that I like personally.
Collecting art you like yourself is a nice hobby.

frusciante went to the other side and back, not many people can do that most don´t come back from the other side. recreative use of drugs can be positive, but once you start abusing them... you are fucked.

Only drug I do is sugar, really hard habit to kick.
