iPhone 4 Death Grip Fix
Alright, for those of you who have the new phone and are loosing signal when holding your phone, I'm pretty sure I've figured out a fix for this. This contacts on the sim card were previously bridging with the frame. I've added some roll on white out to insulate where it was making contact. Perhaps some very thin tape would work as well?
Locate sim https://gfy.com/photos/dglocatesim.jpg Pull out sim with paper clip https://gfy.com/photos/dgpulloutsim.jpg This shows the sim out and you can already see where I have added whiteout. Only add it where the gold contacts are touching the sim tray https://gfy.com/photos/dgsimout.jpg Closeup of whiteout applied https://gfy.com/photos/dgwhiteout.jpg Now put it in the tray and install it back in the phone. Seems to get rid of the issue completely. :thumbsup :thumbsup Ohh and spare this thread of all the anti iphone comments.... haters :winkwink: |

Cool if it works but I think I would go for the tape route cause I wonder if putting white out on your sim card would void your waranty
