    How about NO goalie?

Wouldn't soccer and hockey be far more interesting if there just werent any goalie's and no goal tending?

Yeah sure you can say "but then it would be far too easy for them to score", well duh. Wouldn't you rather see them fighting to keep the ball on one side away from their goal and a game nearly ending in NBA numbers instead of 0-0 or 1-0?

What they both need to do is take away "offsides".

I can't really blame them for the vuvuzelas, the game is boring as hell.

Na cause then the forwards would just hang out at the goals and the fullbacks would have to play too far back. Would eliminate half the hustle and half the field.

yeah because every min of basketball is so entertaining...run the ball down the court..score...run it back...score...repeat until the last 60seconds of the game....then it gets interesting...the last 60 secs of a basketball game is really the only time worth watching

i think basketball would be better if they raised the basket 5 more feet and had lower scores....or just made basketball a 60-120sec sport
