I got the MSI from Frys at $400; 16.5 inch screen and 2GB memory. Good enough for me to work from Starbucks on websites.

you honestly should save just a bit more.
Some pretty good ones around the 800 mark

Never buy anything with an Intel graphic card, driver problems and incomparability issues are insane...

I mean I dislike ATI but if I had only two options it would be ATI over Intel ... Nvidia on other hand :thumbsup

$250 and you can have my Acer Aspire 5517, 250 gb HD, 5in1 card reader, dvd burner, ,15.9 inch screen, wireless internet, Windows 7, laptop is pretty much brand new. still have the plastic on the top side of the laptop, excellent shape. Good if you are wanting to surf the net,etc..I use a Sony Vaio laptop for my graphic designing applications so no need for this one. Give me a shout if you are interested :) Retails for around $450-500 :)
