House of Sand and Fog
 

Fuck me it this wasn't one of the most depressing movies I've seen in recent times. It was listed at #2 in a "Top 10 alcoholic movies" list, so I decided to check it out with a bottle of red wine. It turned out to deal very little with the alcoholism aspect. Yeah, Jennifer Connelly is hot as fuck, but 3/4's into the movie I also wanted to down a bottle of pills.

This should've been titled the House of Suicide and Fog. :Oh crap

If you want an alcoholic movie I recommend you Leaving Las Vegas.

Every self-respecting drunk has seen that movie multiple times. Don't offend me dude.
