What sucks exactly besides that nice pic you have of a girl sucking on a rubber dick... which last time I asked was not actually anything that women like to do with their dildos but we can let that slide because it is certainly a sexy ass pic. However, I am going to call you out for being a typical disingenuous Los Angelino. I highly doubt you think it sucks they went under. In fact, I think you probably were loving it. Go on. Admit it.

What sucks for you about Matrix going out of business? The fact that you can use their loss to your gain is not cause for sadness... that is cause for joy. I would be dancing a jig and not apologizing for it if I were in your shoes.

Who mourns Matrix anyway? Good riddance. Have people all forgotten their role in the beginning of Acacia days?

Besides, imo, the majority of their content sucked. It all looked the same. It all looked like someone that thought he could shoot hi-end pro stuff like Dean's work but without any of the production and post production savvy. The lighting was flat, the models looked about as lifelike and sexy as mannequins but with less sex appeal than plastic bodies to hang clothes on, and it was so whored out that it completely lost any uniqueness.

Sorry to anyone that may have lost their livelihood working there but good luck moving on.

I never said that it sucked for me.

It sucks for those who relied on Matrix for monthly content purchases.

And it sucks for those who lost their job when Matrix closed shop.

Very sad about Matrix, we used to buy a lot from them. Not sure what really happened but it's sad.

Ok, thanks for the clarification and agreed, I feel bad for the people that worked there but not for the company. Too me, it is only good if more people looking to get high end content find their way to your door since your stuff looks frigging good.

I hoped that was the case and that you hadn't sold out. However, in my mind you have earned the right to be critical - albeit, constructively so and politely so of course, in matters of photography.

And even if you won't say it, I am not going to hold back. Matrix had the most flatly lit "high end" content I have ever seen.

Blows me away the Matrix is gone, we purchased our very first set from them probably more than ten years ago.

I don't understand why you would just shut everything down, it makes no sense, you have content you own, continue to sell it, ok don't get any new stuff, but why shut down everything !!
