Real state investment

Anyone got any tips?

What kind of real state investment usually pays off decently - good ?

Any tips would be helpful.

I know this for a fact. You should buy 2 or 3 townhomes for about $45,000 each and fix them up. Rent them out for $1200 per month. Eventually becuase of rapid city expansion they could be $75-80,000 in 10 years.

There was a good thread about residential RE investments about a month or so back..

Do a search on it :thumbsup

New Orleans is a pretty good investment... the real estate there is not on a bubble like many places in Cali and the East Coast. So there may still be good finds to get a 7-10% return on investment a year.

Oh yeah and it is a fun place to plarty ! You will have to come down sometime Todd....

I refuse to buy property in the states.

Nothing against the states, its just that I dont live there so what would be the point of my buying property over there?

Dvern, not sure who you are, but thanks.

Eric and Luke said I had to stop by where all the cool kids hang out! haha

Anyway, I will be lurking and try to kick in my :2 cents: from time to time.

Hopefully Lensman won't ban me.... :winkwink:
