I tried it last year and wasn't too impressed. VM transcription is cool, but if you set up an independant goog voice # it plays a google voice greeting, kinda corny.

You can disable the google voice greeting in your settings ;)

I seriously love google voice. I use that number for all my outgoing calls that are not to family or friends. That keeps both my cell and home numbers out of the public domain.
