I see a lot of anime rape pix in the net with girls looking like children. How legal this shit is?

What if that was not anime? Is there any line? What about hardcore child rape/violation comixes drawn in different manner than anime?

Don't think I like this shit, I just want to know.

I just saw a report on that and from what i gather it isnt ilegal and its 100% legal to do. which sucks hard.

Unforutnately a lot of that hentai stuff has those type of r4pe themes which is just fuckkkked IMO



I keep all my toon shit to the 'good clean cut spanky' stuff....
There's loads of other themes to represent in your toon section or site without having to use that crap...

"Is XYZ legal?" is almost always an unanswerably vague question.

Legal meaning "I can't go to jail for owning it?" "I can't go to jail for viewing it?" "I can't go to jail for selling it?" "I can't go to jail for giving it to children?"

Or does "legal" mean "nobody can sue me for owning / displaying / selling it?"

Also, answer will depend on where you are, where XYZ is, how XYZ is delivered to the customer, and where the prosecutor who wants your ass is.

Substantively, a recent US supreme court decision held that drawn stuff was not child pornography, letting you off the hook (perhaps) for merely possessing the stuff in the US; but that doesn't mean its not obscene in some jurisdictions, meaning that selling it can still be a felony.

Only way to get an answer to your question is to find a smart lawyer in your jurisdiction. Then you have to intimately aquaint him or her with every aspect of your proposed operation. Then you will get not a "yes or no" answer, but a detailed explanation of what your risks are, along with a guestimate of how "real" the various risks are plus some suggestions for things you can do to minimize or avoid those risks. To be worth a damn, your answer will cost you several thousand dollars. Then you have to judge the risks against your expected profit and make a business decision.

From all of which it's pretty obvious that you probably don't want to go there unless (1) your profit expectation is really big or (2) you have found a way to make it hard for hostile governments to track you down, rough you up, and confiscate your assets.

Forkbeard - it's a deep look you gave... Obviously the money is always an ultimate reason. In my location I could do even a real child porn if I wanted to. It's a matter of money. Proper compensation paid to local law enforcement units can make them not only blind, but even covering you. It's just my understanding of good and evil that prevents me from doing such things. And my common snce as well - messing with such things can easily get you into deep shit and conflict with a law is not the worst that may happen.


Well. From the answers here I can see two points:
1. It can be sold with some limitations.
2. The attitude of people to this shit is very negative (which comes at no surprice to me).

Asking the question I rather wanted to see a people's reaction. How negative it is.
