Audi TT

I'm thinking about buying an Audi TT later this year... Anyone here who owns one? What's your experience with them? Any good? Recommended buy or not?

First model was extremly hard, just hiting sleeping policemen did make your neck break.
Also back seats are even more useless comparing to other coupes. Even midgets can't sit there. But it's beautiful car ;) Superhardcore lightweight E46 M3 CSL was much more comfortable then TT.

Don't know how it's with the new model, probably is more comfortable then first model but I don't expect to for daily driving.

Frisky owns one. Black roadster type.

You better be under 6'4" because it gets cramped in there. And it's a chick car. It's a rich man's Mazda Miata :1orglaugh

The first new car I purchased myself was an Audi TT. It was on 03 I believe. It was pretty fast, and the at the time it was a concept car so I'd get asked very often, "what is it?"
Unfortunately, it became a chick car, and then I felt gay driving it. The new model is a 6 cylinder I hear, but it has a more traditional body style which takes away all it's flare. The 4 cylinder had a lot of turbo lag, and was under powered unless tach'd up. In that price range I'd look at an m3.

I feel your pain, I bought one when they were unknown, within 6 months it was branded a chick car... my mates still give me a whippin for it every now and then... I sold it and bought a TVR :)

Yea lol. I think it was legally blonde where they had a chick drive it and then it was done. But it's still a fine automobile and the leases are good.

My friend has one, I've driven it a few times and I have to say I like it. Nice car to drive, 4 wheel drive is nice and the turbo gives it a nice kick of power. It does lag a little compared to my Golf GTI Turbo I had in 2004 but its not terrible.

I had a BMW Z4 which I would say is a much better car than the Audi TT tho, everything about it from comfort to looks is better. If you really want a nice little 2 seater sports car, I can highly recommend the Z4. I loved that car.

I saw the Peugeot last week on the road for the first time, mostly nice but the roof looks a bit strange.

Lol, must be an english thing, I was going to use the same phrase.

Cramped, slow, dated. Move on, get something else.
