Do you own a bike would you buy something like this ?

Oracle Porn 06-11-2010 09:52 AM

I don't owe a bike to anyone

Although those bikes are hot, I'm sure if I'd owe a bike to someone I wouldn't buy one of those bikes :1orglaugh

dyna mo 06-11-2010 09:53 AM

I sure would! If I was going to a gay orgy and needed a place to put my oversize buttplugs and ass lube.

bearpaws 06-11-2010 11:50 AM

What happens when you're done riding? do you have to walk around with it on?
And what is the advantage over cargo pants?
Are we witnessing the birth of the new Fanny-Pack?

BestXXXPorn 06-11-2010 11:51 AM

I don't have a bike any more but I would definitely not wear that if I did, lol

sperbonzo 06-11-2010 11:53 AM

It's too small for my .45

No point.

UniqueD 06-11-2010 12:20 PM

I think a backpack is much more practical

Litzer 06-11-2010 06:05 PM

I ride a sport bike. IMO I think its pretty ugly. Plus if you went down while wearing this it would cause you to flip, defeating the purpose of leather pants / suit helping you slide. (Thats why motorcycle leathers are so tight).

But I ride aggressive and fast. Been down once , going 60+ mph, hit a dog and I really feel my leathers and sliding on them saved my life and skin.

Just buy a magnetic tank bag.

Konkan 06-11-2010 07:20 PM

I won`t wear that thing on my legs. full-stop

baddog 06-11-2010 07:25 PM

I am a straight male. Not a chance.

NetHorse 06-11-2010 07:51 PM

hahahaha! Hand in your man card, that thing is just as bad as a fanny pack.

L-Pink 06-11-2010 08:42 PM

Yes of course I would.

I doubt it...

Bird 06-11-2010 10:09 PM

Just carry a purse

EliteWebmaster 06-11-2010 10:23 PM

I would not buy that nerd pouch if my life depended on it. It looks like something Steve Urkel would wear

sojproductions 06-11-2010 11:44 PM

what exactly does a biker out for a ride need apart from a phone and some cash... that's all i've ever needed and i'm pretty sure my pocket is big enough... way to gay

brentbacardi 06-12-2010 12:51 AM

Check out the chick wearing it at the bar! (click not just for bikers, its a fasion, bottom middle) Now that made me laugh... dont care how hot she is I wouldn't take her home. LOL

captain.g 06-12-2010 03:15 AM

No way in hell. I have pockets and they hold all I need. That is worse than a fag pouch.

munki 06-12-2010 03:28 AM

Leg purse? Fuck that noise...

scarlettcontent 06-12-2010 03:40 AM

looks a bit gay, prefer my rack and box

seeandsee 06-12-2010 05:11 AM

are you not aware that when used with a derisive attitude (e.g. "that bag is gay"), the word gay is pejorative and has nothing to do with sexuality?

I am aware lolol. You clearly have a hard time with sarcasme... I was referring to some people claiming in this thread that they would not wear this as they are straight.

Guess it flew right over you Eh!!!:winkwink:

michael.kickass 06-14-2010 09:00 AM

I'd get one if I could.

Davy 06-14-2010 09:01 AM

Looks really gay, imho. Like a handbag for men.

Amputate Your Head 06-14-2010 10:09 AM

Why not? Most bikers I see these days are full blown idiots anyway, riding in board shorts, no shirt, no helmet.... doubt a leg-fanny pack could make them look any more stupid.

CDSmith 06-14-2010 10:19 AM

As a former hospital worker I'll add here that the term "leg bag" refers to something completely different in the medical world.

should all bikers/motorized 2 wheelers go full ATGATT? even if popping down to the corner market?

how do riders in sf get away with riding without a helmet?

He does not live in SF, and judging by his comments, he does not live in CA either.

He has that as his location but he said he lived somewhere that was over 100 degrees. Knowing it could not be SF, I asked about it and he said he did not live there, in the area. Whatever that means.

It has been a law in CA since 1992. I can assure you, he lives no where in CA that has a bunch of bikers running around without helmets.

I pretty much stopped riding for a year to give the biker rights groups time to do their thing. Since they did nothing, I started riding again, without a helmet, with the intent of being cited. It took four months, but eventually Torrance PD took the bait (during a slowdown at that).

Went to court, defended self and was convicted. Took it to the appellate level, defended self, and had lower court ruling overturned. Unfortunately, my case did not really involve the legality of the law, so did not help much, but did ensure I only pay $10 in the future.

pretty cool. :thumbsup

when was that? if i remember correctly there was some sort of technicality back in the early 90s re: pulling over motorcyclists for helmet infractions but i can't recall the details. maybe we were fooling ourselves but we did get away with riding with brain buckets. these days, i figure if i have to wear a helmet, it might as well be dot.

It was on my son's birthday that I was cited, so that would be 4/93. I seem to recall the entire process took about a year.

The technicality still exists. The vehicle code section the law is under makes it a fix it ticket. But you would have to go to court and do a proper cross-examination of the cop to take that route. I suspect that CHP are hep to it, but a city cop, not likely.
