Just saw Shutter Island
 

Man was it awesome. I thought I had it figured out but no, the twist at the end was insane (no pun intended). This is one of Scorsese's best and I highly recommend it.

i liked end, when he is "back to normal" but can't stand what he had done, and wants to go "brain dead"

i think the docs on the island just fucked with him to make him believe he was insane (to cover up their experiments)

in the end he just gave up.

I was on the fence about this movie on whether to watch it or not, but now I think I will based on all of the positive reviews on it :)

It wasnt horrible. But it wasnt great. With the cast and director... It could and should have been much better.

The suspense just isnt fully there and the twist is kinda lame...

Im a suspense junky and I give it a 3/5.... 3.5 if it matters.

i am getting fed up with seeing Leonardo DiCaprio in fil;ms and thinking he is good.

he is there to be hated as a jerk and some twit in chick flicks.

but i watched him in a few films and thought he is rather good.

Leonardo is one of the best actors in contemporary cinema.

Leo looks very similar to me in certian shots, amazing, and he is a little younger then me, my lost brother or what? Avatar?

trouble is if you've read the book, it sort of kills the film..

It was allright. Rather weird movie. I told my friend Leo was bat shit crazy when the guy in jail told him 'you did this to me'.

Great movie.. Leonardo really plays it good.. and of course Martin Scorsese rocks.. :thumbsup

I think they both Scorcese and DiCaprio got together to see what would happen if they made a movie while experimenting with crack. Hopefully they can rehab and get back to what they should be doing.

I thought it was going to much better than it was....very predictable ending!

its an odd movie, but pretty cool - really like the 'jaws' style sound effects

might have to rent that one...also looking forward to DiCaprio's new movie Inception coming this summer directed by Chris Nolan

I found it boring and highly predictable... It's worth watching once I guess.

I liked Shutter Island but my favorite is still Catch Me If You Can ;)

scorcese is one of my favourite directors and dicaprio is slowly becoming one of my faves but this movie is missing something.. you can't have 3 or 4 twists.. just doesn't make sense by the end... just because you are confused at the end and didn't figure it out doesn't make it a winner..

It was a pretty damn good film, but it really gets you at the end because you have to think.. Was it really a twist, or was he really legit but they managed to trick him into thinking he was what they said.

Get real dude, he was in the Titanic so now he's a twit in chick flicks? He is an incredible actor that played major roles in some of the best movies in the last decade.

All great movies. Blood Diamond and Body of Lies are both underrated movies a lot of people have never seen. Far from "chick flicks".

easily my favorite DiCaprio movie

I thought the previews looked good and then it got mixed reviews so I didn't rush out and see it. I will make sue I put it on my dvd rental list.

It's very much worth seeing.

I rented it last sunday and made the mistake of starting to watch it at 1:00 am while laying down. Got through the first third of the movie and then started nodding in and out of sleep.
I can probably guess the plot but didn't see enough to enjoy it so I guess I'll have to watch it again later. :upsidedow
