Nothing exists in a vacuum. Many of us work alone and need an outlet to express thoughts and work through possible scenarios during the course of life.

If it's only a "possible scenario" it is already a non issue therefore making this entire statement void

How does it void the statement?

Example possible scenarios:

1. The Gulf of Mexico is damaged further
2. The Gulf leak is stopped prior to predictions

Two very different scenarios there. Discussing those (again, a simple example up there) does not propel them into non-issue status. I do not understand the perspective of your statement.

Ashton Kutcher has millions of post followers on Twitter. I don't have information on his finances, but I'm certain he could be classed with the big money makers.

As it was chimed in, most folks post to get their posts counts up. Others are just talkative I guess :)
