Windows Mail on new PCs w/Windows 7 gone?
 

What did I miss? Just picked up a couple of new laptops and it is not there... is this due to a lawsuit or something?

They just stopped bundling it. You can download it from MS.

hmm, i like windows mail as well. I was also gonna upgrade to 7 on my machine just havnt gotten around to it yet.

you download it now, its just unneeded bulk for a install disk..

I have no idea. Windows Mail is sure useful.

everybody uses online mail (gmail, yahoo, hotmail) so there is no need for email clients these days like back in 80s - 90s
