I have a buddy who owns mongooseperformance.com, has built cars for tony stewart, earnhardt jr, football players and team owners. Everything from mini cooper to ford gt40. Hes good friends with the owner of Jegs. He wants to rebuild his site and make it over the top. He wants to provide the same inventory of jegs.com through his site along with car build requests and then drop shipping. Jegs is giving him ONE HELL OF A DISCOUNT because they are friends, so once word gets out about his site, this thing will be booming....

Who here can handle one or all aspects of this idea? The ability to call (1. call center), or order parts (2. Jegs inventory) and place an order. Or, call and say "Hey I have this car I want it supercharged, suspension etc, how much?" Of course, spice up the website (right now its not that great at all), etc etc and the list goes on....if someone can help me drive traffic which I already have some ideas lined up thatd GREAT! :thumbsup

Key point, this site needs to be like the top parts/car ordering sites out there BUT better, over the top!

Last thing, he wants to incorporate porn somehow, maybe not on the muscle car side of his site, but the import side, the younger crowd, maybe a simple banner even....

another idea, that might be easier is to use jegs call center and just provide them with a promo code from mongooses' site...

- Hard links (lifetime hard links may have a short life if site closes)
- Search Engine Optimization
- Articles
- Reviews
- Blogs

Just looking for one or multiple people to work on the design/layout, either using jegs inventory or using a simple promo code and a redirect to jegs.

Its definitely a great opportunity for some people to get involved. This gentlemen will DEFINITELY take care of who gets involved I must say.

If you need someone that actually knows cars and can help sell parts shoot me a message. I considered doing this for a couple shops a few years ago but was working in strip clubs, then the one shop I was going to work at went under and the guy just started slinging parts on ebay.

There's a shop here in Tempe that makes millions a year selling Mustang parts. They have a service/mod shop as well but they are complete assholes and shady fucks in there, I have no idea why they don't shut it down and just do mail-order.

I have always had quite a few ideas having been on automotive message boards since something like 2001. Could probably be of some help ;)
