You know what sucks? Brake fade coming down a hill at 220km/h. That was unpleasant. It's a good thing I was driving a 5 speed, and that I'm not a super tard like most modern drivers. I downshifted to slow down, something that is lost on the modern driver.

"what the fuck is a downshift that sounds like something a commie would do. get out of america or speak american".

i love the entire muther fuckin thing! a bit outta my price range though. it'd be hard to choose between that and a 458 italia, if i were shopping in that price range.

Glad you were safe & didnt crash. I use my gears when driving but thats the whole gtr experience. Ive hit a few corners & continued accelerating whilst praying that the whole "Skylines can handle any corner thing" is true... it has been so far.

We can only but keep working to provide us with the toys we desire. 458, yes, very nice. One of the nicer models. I see one only the other night. The fella sitting chatting to his bird parked on the high street. :thumbsup

Downshifting is the funnest and sometimes most challenging (rev-downshift) part of driving. People don't know what they're missing.

Do you really think big US cars are sexy? They are mens motors. Is Jeff Capes sexy? He is cool, he is hard, like Bruno or Tyson, but they are certainly not sexy like Mercs or sports cars.

hehe, fair play mate. Not knowing if were going to be buddies as we drive a 2.6 twin turbo GTR R33. Ive had 170mph out of her down the M3, a motorway from London to Poole. She runs sweet & is smooth as you like with a 0-60mph which is about 100kph of around 4seconds :2 cents:


I personally think the r33 is nicer looking than the r32 and 34 as the 34 is a little aggressive and the 32 has not got the 4wd and the same amount of power :( Hoping were still buddies :thumbsup

The 2 seater Mercedes is almost as large, which is what makes it look so odd. The Impala seats between 6-9 people depending on the style and everyones goods too. It can be customized outside and under the hood for far less than just the cost of the Mercedes alone, easily making it out perform the Mercedes as well - which only has about 80 more hp from the factory and a much bigger price tag.

any and all of these cars would go in my garage. all are works of art, rolling time machines.

but i also find the sls drop dead, the gt version looks even better, minus the wing.

As to the Porsche, Ive sat in a Porsche Carrera GT, It feels fantastic even without the engine running.

The Noble is my favourite high performance motor personally :thumbsup
