My stats show IE now less than 50% of browsers used, FIREFOX major gains
what is ie? :)
I cant stand IE. FireFox is by far the best browser. I never thought I would use anything else but IE back in the day.
i would say having twice the placement of the closest browser is a success

Here's what I'm showing from google analytics for Claudia-Marie.Com...the thing that's kinda worrisome is all that Playstation 3 traffic! I guess the kids love a big ass and giant tits. :1orglaugh
1. Internet Explorer 4,491,748 57.71% 2. Firefox 2,187,279 28.10% 3. Safari 409,178 5.26% 4. Chrome 325,378 4.18% 5. Opera 208,939 2.68% 6. Playstation 3 48,194 0.62% 7. Opera Mini 28,424 0.37% 8. Mozilla 19,361 0.25% 9. Mozilla Compatible Agent 10,755 0.14% 10. Netscape 9,243 0.12% |
The sad thing is.... on my site where only mostly webmasters and GFY users go on shows IE as like 90% and I LOL everytime I sign into my stats.... LOL SAD!!!!!
IE is still on top but with mayor loss against FF and CHROME, and that will go down and down

The past week's numbers for me:
Internet Explorer 3,849,411 70.91% Firefox 885,350 16.31% Safari 377,587 6.96% Chrome 186,049 3.43% Opera 18,362 0.34% Exit: Oh and may IE die in a fucking fire... what a pile of trash that never gets updated... |

Yeah. FUCK IE aka Malware Explorer. FF FTW! Although the latest versions have been memory hogs, I'm sure that will be resolved in the future.
Chrome FTW, IMO ;) But I still have to use FF on a daily basis for FireBug :)
It looks like overall my traffic is around 43% IE, 29% Firefox and the rest spread out over the other browsers with none getting over 7%
Checked out our stats as well. Looks like in 2008 IE had roughly 75% of our traffic, now its down to 53%. Pretty substantial drop in 2 years time. Firefox shows the biggest growth followed by Safari.
I've heard rumours from a mate working at MS, that IE9 rivals chrome in terms of speed. Not sure it's going to be their saving grace though, people are getting used to alternatives, hard to regain market share when you've pissed so many people off.
I'll throw in some surfer numbers...
Past 6 Months: IE - 50.75% FF - 29.4% Safari - 8% Cm - 4.8% Previous 6 Months: IE - 54.7% FF - 29.2% Safari - 7% Cm - 2.8% That's a whole year... Much of the loss (not that it's much of a loss) has gone to Safari and Chrome, not FF, on our end. |
