And whos idea was it to have the MTV Movie Awards at the same time as game 2 of the finals? Wtf..

I tuned in to the beginning of the "Movie Awards" show and watched about 3 minutes of that Les Grossman thing. Horrid. I realized that I didn't know who those two guys were that all the little girls in the audience were screaming (screaming?) for and turned the channel. I'm old and out of touch, I guess. I watched basketball.

I thought Tom Cruise was pretty bad ass. He stayed the Les Grossman character through the whole show. His dancing with Beyonce and timing was pretty good, considering he isn't a dancer. Got to respect that.


I was watching game 2 of the NBA finales but caught a few clips of the MTV movie awards on news sites and youtube. seemed pretty cool as usual.

Don't forget the Twilight Mom's who somehow think it is OK to lust over boys that are the same age as their daughters.

It is a weird phenomenon.

Having said that, I refused to watch Twilight for the longest time. I eventually saw the first one in the free On Demand section. I watched it thinking it would suck but I became hooked. I've now seem them all -- but only saw the first one two or three months ago. I will drag myself to the theater to see the next one and I do not even like movie theaters.

MTV is stupid... they don't play any music... their reality shows are crap compared to VH1, so there is no reason to watch them.... Oh and I am 23 btw so I should fit into their target demographic (other than 15-18 year old girls who want to be vampires) so they really suck!

If you're only 23 shouldn't there be a whole new channel for you? MTV was like 40 years ago and changed demographics 20 years ago.

There was some show afterwards that was pretty funny. Something about a kid named RJ Berger. Had a few good laughs in it.

Well I remember they still played music videos when I was a kid but now they don't really. Music videos should be for most ages like 8-30+. Whether its rock or rap, there are people of almost any age who want to watch the music videos. Why did they get rid of them!!!!! And I didn't mind like Beavis and Butthead but its whack now. I dont want to see 16 year old pregnant bitches on tv lol...
