Sponsors WITHOUT a free site get in here
 

I've been getting a lot of new and established sponsors asking me to make them a free site that promotes their sites via their free hosted galleries and promote other programs that doesn't conflict with thier's. Most sponsors are finding that if they want sales they have to generate thier own traffic and can't depend on affiliates anymore. What I'm looking for here is any and everyones opinion on this. Would a MGP set up with scripts, thier sponsor hosted galleries and another sponsors filler galleries be worth $999?

Seems a bit high to me. I think $999 would buy a TGP script, design and everything else and leave change today. If you have people in house who can do it will cost a lot less.

Then you have to feed it with traffic and get conversions.

Maybe a Tube type site would work better.

Well it would be a tube type site,10 hours of setup/support, first months server lease, and 100k of feeder traffic. I'm just pushing ideas around right now. The design would be very basic. Any graphics etc the buyer would have to provide. It would come set up with trades and like comus or smart thumbs.

people make turn key tgps/mgps for cheaper. but i guess if your grew it for them it would be more.

Without the option to grow it for them it would be useless.

Well it would be a trading site and we would initially set it up to trade with my sites but tell them that they need to find trades and get ours out of thier system as soon as possible. The filler galleries would be 5 minute long flv movie pages they would get credit for signups on. The whole purpose of this is so smaller and new sponsors can create their own traffic sources and not have to rely on affiliates so much. Lets face it unless a sponsor lands a whale they have very little chance of getting enough affiliates to send enough traffic. And bad thing about laning a affiliate whale is that if they stop promoting you your fucked.

10 hours of labor for setup and support is $250
Comus or smart thumbs is like $150
Server is $250
feeder traffic is $450
would offer support after this at $25 a hour, keeps my coder busy in between projects.
I think all this for $999 is a pretty good deal
I could make it with the filler galleries already in the thumb script, all the sponsor would have to do is load his galleries in the thumb script. When he has enough of his own galleries to sustain the site delete the fillers.

I think this is the problem. Face it, trading/working traffic is not as easy as 1, 2, 3. So unless you teach them how to trade and what to look at I still don't see it work tbh.

It remembers me of the people who sold complete tgps/mgps years ago including 100k of daily traffic. How many of those are actually left? How many did run it in the ground the moment the seller took his hands off?! Remember when people bought established sites only to run it into the ground within a year just because they didn't have a clue?

Just saying it aint as easy as it looks, but hell if you are able to work this out then more power to you ofcourse ;)))

Yeah I remember this. Difference is here these sites are for sponsors to promote their own programs. So they are going to have a more vested interest in not letting it go to shit.

maybe find a good traffic manager your can recommend who needs the work and let the traffic guy and the program work out a deal. would be a good gig for someone capable.

And what exactly did those others buy the sites for? Spending a few k on a 100k tgp was probably not enough to care huh ;)))

Good idea. If the sponsor/owner of the site were to hire a part time guy to manage trades etc that would work out good

I don't know. I was not involved in that. I remember years ago guys were making and selling mgp sites to others. How do I know if they cared or didn't care enough to let them go to shit?

and you get 100k feeder traffic you say? over what 30days?

i have sites like this already setup that i paid about that price and they didnt give me 100k traffic to start

Its a solid idea, probably a better way to go would be to create a site in certain niche, fill it with traffic, get some solid trades set up then sell it to a program looking to promote that niche.
