one of the greatest college coaches fo all times and all around humanitarian may not make it through the night. Pray for his family :(

Way up there. He will be 100 in October. Wikipedia already listed today as his date of death. Little premature on their part.

yep 99 years old. I had a chance to meet him a couple of times at school and he was a very caring and nice individual

Great coach and even better person. "Only the good die young" definitely doesn't apply in this case. And he was in good health until the last year or so.

The hospital says he is resting comfortably now and was admitted for dehydration.

Our local TV station ran an item saying that he had passed away, then about 10 minutes later, they ran a retraction.
