Your favourite movie of all time?

I am looking for some great flicks to watch this weekend since we are going to get massive rainfall over here so I figured I would ask the fine clientele of GFY.

My own very favourite would have to be Requiem for a dream, after careful consideration. It was a smash in the face when I first watched it and it left a huge impression on me that last until this day. What's your fav?

Vendzilla 06-03-2010 01:47 PM

Animal House
When I was in the Navy, my submarine had it's own copy, we had TOGA parties, it was great.

It would have to be a movie I made myself, but I didn't make a movie yet.

This was my absolute fave as a kid. I've even made pilgrimages to Astoria and Canon Beach. Beautiful place, but there is no friggin way those kids road their bikes from the town to the shore, lol.

I remember when the Prestige came out it was running almost head to head with the Illusionist. The Illusionist came out just a week or two before the Prestige. From the trailers I really thought the Illusionist was going to be a better film, and I was a fan of the cinematography, but the Prestige blew it out of the water.

David Bowie as Nicola Tesla- Genius! :thumbsup

spot on. the illusionist was interesting but i thought a cop out at the end.

the prestige however totally delivered and the ending was great.

and yes having bowie as tesla, having tesla as a character in the movie was brilliant.
