Yeah, Obama gave the OK for more offshore drilling like 2 weeks before the well blew up and Goldman Sachs unloaded most of their BP shares right before the well blew up. And the well was worked on by Halliburton right before it blew up. Oh and Transocean insured the rig that blew up for twice it's value. This whole thing is ripe for tinfoil speculation.

seldom are words like disaster, horrific, calamity appropriate for anything. They get overused a lot and tend to lose their meaning. All three and many more are apt descriptions for what is going on in the Gulf right now. It is so bad that no one is even estimating how bad the damage really is or for how long it will have a negative impact
