What is a good stats program?
Looking to load something on a server that will track certain domains, list daily uniques, referrers etc. Daily GB xfer, monthly xfer. All taht good stuff.
Awstats is pissing me off. Thanks and Happy New Year |
Anything that is remotely hosted is shit... (ie "stats services").. at best there is a 20% difference in the stats. Depending what is wanted in the stats, tis better to setup your own script...

webalizer is pretty decent, and it's free, if you have access to a C compiler on the target system or a precompiled binary:
http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer if you want to spend money, various versions of webtrends will give you more data than you know what to do with. http://www.webtrends.com --ravyn |
I use Ensim,I'm looking for another one :thumbsup

Analog.
They all do the same thing, and read the same log file. The others do it pretty, analog does it fast and efficient. We've been using Analog for years with zero problems. It just ain't pretty, if that matters to you. |
AccessProbe.com
Accessprobe can be slow at times but it mostly depends on your traffic but it does a good job of analizing the stats. It can be set to ignore analizing the stats to files like jpgs, gif, txt ect. It will also clean out the log file removing lines that are not necessary to view the stats which can reduce the log file by 50-80% Nbritt |
