if this page is in spanish for you, doctors are saying the nature of the deformity is still a mystery. the child appeared normal 20 days before birth in ultrasound (i am assuming), the actual birth was normal, but the child came out like this.

deformed kids in china will probably become more common unfortunately.

Did anyone see the Ripley's Believe It Or Not episode with the man who had no face? I think he has no jaw, no eyes, no nose - something like that.

Also, did anyone hear about the story of a man surviving after a fire squad tried to shoot him to death? The story goes like this: a man stands beside a wall and a firing squad of about 10 people shoots him in the face (face is severly disfigured) and body. Bullets go inside his body, but he survives. The belief is that if a man survives a firing squad, this means that it is a sign from God that he needs to be kept alive. So, the firing squad does not kill the man and lets him live.
