Going through the roughest time of my life right now, but I will not subject anyone to my bullshit. Long story short, 8 months of savings have been depleted and life just keeps kicking us in the teeth.

I have domains & sites for sale, as an auction in the Buy & Sell Forum. I can't post the link, else Xpays / Evan / HuntingMoon gets all sadface & GFY will coddle him.

I could sure use a hand, but not ever taking any handouts or such for free.

13 domains, auction ends on June 2nd at 12:01 AM and starting bid is $2500.

That's a lot to ask for those domains.

Good luck, but with that pricing I don't think you're going to get any bites and just waste a week of it being up. Make the starting bid your Bin and lower the starting bid to $500.

Considering some are dev'd, you're doing yourself a disservice by expecting people to come to you and ask for the stats on them. The domains themselves simply aren't worth what you're asking (sorry but being honest, and honesty is what you need since you NEED money), but if the dev'd sites are getting enough traffic, the package may be worth it. But no one would know that looking at your post...it would almost be assumed that they must get no traffic if you don't share the stats in the post.

Again, just being honest here since you NEED money...you should be doing everything you can to increase your chances of getting the money you need, and expecting people to come to you to ask for stats on a package with a bunch of dev'd sites is not the way to do it.

There are no 4 letter domains available anymore. They are worth way more then that

A nearly 2 year old post? They've gone down in value since.

Interesting thread to bring that up in, but yes, that was many years ago. I left Ladner in 2004.

I hardly think they've gone down in value. If it was reflective of it's time then if anything they have gone up.

Xlaw.com is a keeper. Thowing it out there but might not be a bad pick up to broker down the road with some of the lawyers that service our industry. They're at every show.

Just to give an idea that domain values have not been simply going up over time for everything...the crappy economy over the past couple years made sure of that. Heck, in July '08 LLLL.com's were already on their way down from the $50 min wholesale they reached shortly after they were all taken in Nov 07 to the $22 that link had. Don't take my word for it though...look throughout NP and DP for sale posts and see what weaker LLLLs are listed at.

Anyways, the OPs ones are obviously above minimum quality but I just wanted to clear up the misconception that any LLLL.com is worth a decent amount. It's not uncommon to see them for under $10 apiece at NP and DP.

Good luck with your sales in the buying/selling section of GFY - this is one of the best spots to advertise. You say you have never begged, borrowed or stolen - this is perfect.

However, some people say they don't want to do business with a person who has never been in debt, because that person never had experience getting out of debt. Your starting bid of $2,500 is very high. I don't know if you will be able to sell something. Good luck, luv$.

Good luck, keep trying, We were experiencing low sales, smaller checks etc.....We kept looking for new ways to get more sales rolling in. We did everything from new designs to new pricing options, the money is out there, just not as easy as it used to be.
