I keep forgetting peoples names more often these days than I used to. Old age ?

shit... dude, I never know what day it is. I forget to eat. I forget what I'm doing in the middle of doing it. I completely forgot about Mother's Day this year. I have to make lists for everything. I have notepads & pens all over the house. It only gets worse. :(

Someone can tell me their name or someone elses name and it's gone from my head before the end of the sentence.

My family has to remind me of dates of things. Quite often someone will tell me i'm doing something tomorrow and i'll have no idea. :upsidedow

I think it is something that has to be thought about, if you make an effort to think about their name as they tell it to you and not forget it, you won't, most of us don't take that extra step to actually pause and think

whose on first? actually it's because they aren't of any importance to you. it's called filtering.

Read some literature such as plays with many character names. Perhaps this will help you with your memory of names, mrjoint. You can also quit smoking weed joints (if you smoke joints), because the weed joints can cause memory loss.

I forget names right after meeting people. The other day I bumped into an exgf I dated for a year and a half and I couldn't remember her name and still can't. With me it is mostly just names though. I remember everything else.
