iBill Can BITE MY ASS!
I switched from iBill to CCBill BEFORE the new Visa regs were even announced. I had some rebills left on iBill which I ended up canceling (I gave the iBill guys 10 free days for switching to CCBill)...I STILL filled out all of my paperwork, as I was supposed to, faxed it back in, emailed my sales rep (Greg May) to ENSURE everything was set. He claimed it was fine. December 1 came, instead of sending me my reserve $$, they applied towards the $750 for continuing to process Visa. I had NO REBILLS thru iBill anymore! I called Greg May, he SWORE it was taken care of and that money would be released back to me...I get an email on December 24, asking me to update my merchant info...it was all WRONG! It was filled with info I had NEVER used with them! WTF?! I try to follow their links to change the info and get one broken link after another. JUST in case they have 'accidentally' changed my password (since they changed my OTHER info), I tried their 'Forgot Password' link...it NEVER sent ANY info to my email address.. TYPICAL iBill crap that NEVER works...I spent over an hour and a half going rounds with them on the telephone trying to fix all of this, get Decembers money as well as January's money...each person you talk to knows nothing of the problem (I guess they do not enter anything in to your 'file'), so I had to start ALL over again. I finally get Tony, who is supposedly in charge of the support team. He tells me tht he will have Mark Smith (in charge of the sales team) call me first thing this morning...Gee...it is 2pm PST (they are EST), and STILL no phone call from them! I have called them TWICE so far today...not reaching Tony OR Mark. WTF?! Are they SO hard up that they need my reserve monies?!
GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!! This is SUPPOSED to be my 'mad money' in Vegas next week! :ak47: DIE IBILL DIE! :ak47: Thank you for letting me vent! You may carry on with your normal activities! |
Bigger offices and new software in 2002! WOOHOO!
|
Thats typical with ibill, why you dont tell us how you really feel?:)
|
i'd be pissed, thats some shit.
|
ARGH!
DIE IBILL! NOW Mark Smith is gone for the holidays! I am so frigging PISSED off! :BangBang: :ak47: |
Let it all out here kayla, we feel your pain girl.
|
This is what is so scary about Ibill. Generally everything works well but if there is a problem it is always a fundamental problem.
No matter how many times your rep says "I'll take care of it" you know the trouble aint over until the money is in your bank. They have to hire someone who has experience with customer service and problem resolution. I can't wait to see who is lined up at the Ibill booth at Internext. |
There booth at internext is located in the parking lot.

Greg May gave me the run around as well for a week, with still no check. Fuck their sales reps- when I call them next week, it'll be to talk to their legal department. I'm one step away from filing complaints with the Attorney General of Florida and the FTC.
Payment of those reserves is covered by contract and they're in breech of it... |
fuck ibill, let me bite your ass. why should they have all the fun, jeez.
|
Hi there one suggestion, try acpay there customer support is incredible.

i can tell you nightmare after nightmare with Ibill but ya'll all know the stories (though the charactors and websites may change).
I typically deal with a guy named "Larry Goldstein". I think he is a "big wig" but Im not sure. Ask for him, maybe he can be of help. Oh yea, did I say "JETTIS RULES":thumbsup |

Ask for Bob Cox when you call IBILL :)

Kayla, I totally know what you mean. This is what happend to us.
We use Ibill for back up processing and when the visa stuff came down we declined to use them for Ibill and filled out our paper work..etc stating that we did not want to pay the fee. I haven't gotten a check for so long, I looked at the CMI and realized that they took the Visa 750 out TWICE!! On 12-29 we talked to an Ibill customer service guy and he told us that on December 13 they got word from Visa that anyone who had even ONE recurring member for Visa would need to be canceled by midnight that night or Ibill would not be Visa compliant. The rep said that "Ibill was too busy" to cancel members or send emails" so they opted to take the money out. They had already taken the money November 15 pay check so I don't know why they are saying all that. They also have no plans to 'reimburse' as CCbill does. They did not email us to let us know that we were paying the visa fee either. Right before Christmas, no doubt. Bottom line as per our friendly Ibill customer service Rep this evening. Your stats in Ibill haven't worked since at least the 15th ("due to all this Visa mess") The current stats are incorrect and disregard any information you see on them. (Even though our stats say they've billed us DOUBLE for the Visa Fee of which we declined to use). Ibill's database is screwed up too so they can't look any info up either. Checks for anything you may or may not have coming for December couldn't be mailed because the interface is screwed up. After January 2 they will mail Decembers checks (weeks late). The CMI won't be fixed until after that so you really won't get to know what you made for Dec. If you had opted to NOT use the Visa and pulled your buttons and just wanted to use the WEB900- If they did not cancel your visa rebills in the interim from the deadline date (Nov 15 to Dec 13th) then they are taking your Web900 money to pay visa-that which you are not using. As per the Ibill rep "I doubt your rep will call you back tomarrow." Boy, I sure would like to pour hot grease on them. Katie |

Where do you see where they took out the VISA fees? |
I told IBill I didn't want to use them for VISA (I prefer CCBill) but they told me that I had to fill out the VISA registration form anyway or they would withhold my Web900 money!!!!!! So then I had to go thru all this shit trying to find the right form (they kept giving me the wrong URL's), filling it out, waiting for approval, etc etc etc just to get my Web900 cash. Now I won't even use them for Web900 anymore. Too much stress dealing with them.

They *SO* bite ass, I hope they choke on their own bullcrap and die!
I am NOT a rich chickie, I am not one of the people posting on here going on and on about how much money I make...because I DON'T! This $500 or so that they own me was to be my spending money, gas money, food money while in Vegas next week. They have no concern for customers, they screw webmasters on the RevShare/Affiliate programs (which is why I switched in the FIRST place) and they lack customer service as well as common sense! :feels-hot |
Do webamaster still "deal" with IBill? They need a bullet up the ass and that company dissolved.
|
If your going to Internext you should tell IBILL how you feel everytime you walk passed their booth!
I'm going to let them know long and loud! IBILL Sucks!! :BangBang: |

So funny, in the past at the end of the year and at Internext it was all just good times like a big mutual love in. I used to get Hickory Farms baskets before Xmas from people, I know others who would even get cases of Dom.
This year I got one Xmas card despite it being my biggest year ever, and I didn't hear of anyone else getting much more than that. The mood has totally gone stale and I think Internext is going to be a big open forum of finger pointing. Everyone has an axe to grind about being shaved or not paid or what have you. I can't wait to see what happens at Internext. |
We stopped processing with IBill in October, they owe us several thosand dollars in reserves. We havent seen any payments/wires/cheques since November.
All complaints about this have fallen on deaf ears. Demands for payment go unanswered. My advice is to be very cautious about dealing with IBill. |
Having very similar problems with them and the way they handled the whole visa thing was just a god damn nightmare. Everyone should move away from Ibill and leave them to die, they suck and god damn those stories are EXACTLY what i've been through with them.

Thank god I dropped Ibill in Nov of 2001 when they first started to screw up the rebills. They stole about $2000.00 from me then and last month they stole the remaining $3000.00 in reserves they owed me. It may not seem like it but we were lucky to only lose a little. |

They simply stop paying you. They set the account on 'no pay' and they will not respond to you when you email the customer service or legal department. I will not tolerate this and my lawer is already working on filing a law suit. When I hear that many cases I wonder if they are not in for some Rico suit.
|
I think Ibill needs your cash to pay for the Corvettes it's giving away at Internext:
Ibill Corvette Promo I certainly will be there to register! In my case if they actually paid me I could go buy one, although I think an S500 would be a better prize. |

I was getting paid the reserves they owed me then all of a sudden the reports showed zero and the deposits stopped. One day its there and the next its gone. Keep in mind - one of their biggest reps was at the last show bragging that "If anyone needs real e-mails I have millions of them" while he stumbled around drunk like a jackass. We are not exactly talking about a very legit company these days. In fact, that was the same rep that came to this board and told everyone to fuck off a few months back and he STILL has a job at Ibill. Thats a really good reflection of Ibill as a whole. |
Everytime you go into their interface, take screenshots and print out the screen.
That way, when the balance suddenly drops to zero, you've got dated hardcopy and softcopy of the truth to give your lawyer. Even if you think that this won't happen to you... DO IT. |
Not 2 long ago just about everything on this board about ibill was how great they are... Wonder what happened...:1orglaugh I recall saying people just keep on doing business with'm:1orglaugh :1orglaugh And a lot are still doing business with'm :1orglaugh Wonder if ibill will be another sypro?

Are any of the people who are owed money by Ibill interesting in looking into a class action claim against IBill ?
Maybe someone could start a poll, How much does IBill owe you ? It's ironic that IBill hold the reserves to cover chargebacks or shield themselves from losses due to fraud, where is the protection for the poor IBill client who doesn't get paid ? IBill owe us several thousand dollars in held reserves, haven't seen a cent for two months, all complaints fall on deaf ears and our rep is ignorant and full of excuses. The payables department dont answer their email. It seems once you dump IBill you lose your money. |
