Man in Illonois detained in jail for four
 

days for being a suspected illegal immigrant...when in fact he is an American citizen...with a drivers license...SS card...and birth certificate. Apparently they suspected his documents were forged and it took four days to verify their authenticity.

And so it begins..."Papers please"

"OK...here you go."

"Hmm...you look illegal to me...these could be forged papers. I am taking you to jail."

I don't know if he can sue but I hope that he can.

BTW...he was of Puerto Rican descent.

I don't think its something that will be happening very often. He might've had Osama t-shirt on or something.

Well...I don't know what he was wearing or what caused the initial contact and yeah I don't think it will happen often...but if you are the person it happens to...then it becomes to often.

When the Arizona law was still announced I said that I thought the state would end up getting sued and potentially lose some serious cash. I can just see a situation like this happening where a legal person is detained all this time, they sue and win a few million dollars. Then anyone who was ever wrongly stopped by the police will join in on the fun and start suing.

hopefully it won't come to that, but we live in crazy times.

and if it does oh well a few days in jail ,probably lose your job, your family traumatized, nothing serious.

Fat ass drunk cowardly Ted Kennedy spearheaded the change in our immigration laws a long time ago for a very specific reason. He and his buddies wanted to divide and conquer. So here we are just a few years away from a race war. They won. You weak TV watching trendy leftists happy now that your country is being destroyed?
