If you need any design / cartoon / logo work - I cannot recommend this guy enough
 

He should be working for Pixar or something. Amazing turnaround and absolutely stunning quality - and my spec was hardly complete. He nailed it on the first round, no edits even needed. Price is unbelievable as well.

(Can't show what he did for me yet until i clear it with a partner, but it's amazing).

dovianax.com has some talented art. The person who is the best artist can also have an advantage in writing. You can look at Chinese letters or Egyptian hieroglyphs to see that it takes a skilled artist to duplicate the exact image with a paint brush.

There are much more skilled artists than that on Deviant art.

That's just ordinary even amateur looking art compared to other people on there.

i love DeviantArt - talented artists and they work cheap. A girl made me a set of icons for 50 bucks - one of the better adult design companies probably would have quoted me 300 dollars. A guy just tweaked a bitmap logo and converted it to vector format for me for 10 bucks.

this industry is in big trouble, anybody who still wants to work in it better be dropping their prices quickly or they won't be in business much longer. sad, but that's the way it is. i never mind paying a fair price for what I need but with sales the way they are that just won't be possible - of course depending on what your definition of 'fair price' is.

I've looked there, and only see posters, photos, etc. for sale.
