So what is up with the results in the pool?

Is there not a minimum amount of weeks that has to be entered to be qualified for the year end results?

Just curious?

Because then one could bet 2 weekends of the 17 and still win??

Heh all I know is that I was the main pimp #1...or in layman terms the person who got more wins overall...

But does it matter...I didn't think there were any prizes for the year...or did lens throw something in?

I was wondering about this too. The top *winners* for the year are guys that only made pics for a few weeks, so their ratio of right-to-wrong pics were high. But those of us that made pics every week of the season have wayyyyy more right pics than these "winners" do. DjSap had what...136 right pics? I had 129, anyone else get more?

That does suck

that last week was fucked up...only got 5 wins so i ended up on 137...

I guess I'll know better for next year then... pick a few weeks early on in the season, nail a great win-loss ratio and then sit back and let everyone chase you. If I had've quit picking back in September (when I had my 12 out of 14 week) I might have had a real shot at the top 3 overall.


for some reason I thought going the distance and amassing the most right picks would be what the prize money was based on. Oh well, live and learn. This was my first football pool I've ever played in, and I picked 129 correct games, and I won for one of the weekly prizes.

...still waiting for that jacket btw. Looking forward to wear it in the spring, hopefully. :D

I don't even think there was a grand prize...or was there?

I think so...it says in the final year's winners list that the 1st prize winner gets just over $1800 bucks, 2nd place gets $500.

I think so.....I'm sure I read someone month's ago saying they did. Time to email hoax soon I guess, but I hate bugging anyone like that. But it has been over 3 months since I won mine.....

I was in first place one week. Are they really giving out stuff?
