Why don't you get an interior decorator?

I have a large flat blue glass bowl. In it I throw all the left over foreign currency from various travels. I have it so that the paper bills are fanned out around the bowl with all the coins piled in the center. It makes a nice conversation piece and gives me something to do with the crap small cash that I can't be bothered to change when I come back to the US.

been thinking about except ive bought all my furniture already.. so now im just trying to get ideas of what people did with theirs

vase with flowers? im a 24yr old man.. this is my bachelor pad.. i dont need flowers on my table.. i have house plants..

it's an oval glass table with a smaller shelf beneath. On top are a couple coasters, wireless keyboard and mouse for the HTPC. On the shelf are a couple of roll-up reed placemats for when we eat dinner in front of the tv. :) That's it.

Just browse Amazon, there are tons of them. There are some much harder and much easier ones (like the X with a square in the middle) :upsidedow

I keep mine clear because it doubles as a dining room table :1orglaugh

If I was looking to decorate a nice table with a centerpiece though, I like the glass bowl with colored rocks inside setup.

we have some raw wood carved bowls that we keep keys, remote, etc in. sometimes a candle (right now its a redwood scented candle i got off of etsy) and these salt and pepper shakers since we generally use it as our dining table and sit on the floor to eat because our dining room is full of the treadmill and crap i need to take to goodwill, haha.

decorations like candles, candy jar, remote, etc.

the best one i had used to lift up from the top so it turned into an eating surface... one of the best things i ever bought
