Amado is a checkpoint for Border Patrol too .... it's the last one you hit coming up from Mexico through Arizona.

(And I think the first too besides the border)

I saw something like that on Border Wars on NatGeo sometimes they find brand new vehicles and just leave them because too much hassle to drag em out.

My popup blocker just goes nuts blocking all of snopes.com's popups. When will they learn?

I dont know why anyone supports illegals instead of supporting ways to make the path to legal citizenship easier. It's misguided.

Don't get me wrong... I enjoy visiting AZ. Love going to Phoenix and think that the Grand Canyon is one of the most beautiful spots in the US. But when this area was brought to my attention... and in light of all of the controversy surrounding AZ as of late... seeing these pics really disgusted me.

That's pretty sad, especially since it's taking place on a national nature conservation area. I've seen/heard reports about folks stashing illegals in parts of the cars as well.
