Another Canadian Dead in Afghanistan...
So I was just watching the latest news about the latest Canadian soldier killed in Afghanistan... and while I'm not a patriot-type and not taken to feeling for statistical news figures, I was affected by this report - his description, his humanity, it somehow came across in the report.
I was just wondering if there were really any more of us here or Canadians in general who thought there was any point to Canada's involvement in Afghanistan any more or at any point really in the last seven or eight years... What the fuck, people... :D |
Our soldiers should not be in Afghanistan, simple as that.

Canadians should be remembered for their fight. Remember the Canadian Governor General's Horse Guard, also.

What exactly Canadians forgot in Afghanistan? Just curious...

while i agree with your judgement on our effectiveness in the region, there is other matters at hand
keep in mind the people we are fighting, fight back with acid attacks on children.. |

no one really supports the "war in afghanistan" its a Right Wing chess game trying to stop opium production meanwhile soldiers are the pawns.
I have family serving there |

Funny thing is when the Taliban were running things, buddies with the US administration and all that, heroin production went down to zero...
Now, we have Karzai's brother running the biggest and highest heroin industry in the country since before western "involvement"... :D |
It's all a big pile of steaming horse shit. I for one think we shouldn't be there.

Well hell, US is covering Canadian ass. Its not like Canada can stand up for itself. So that's the price you pay for being 51st state.
