How much do cigarettes cost in your country?
 

Prices for cigarettes are increasing from Jan 1st on, here in Belgium.
I was wondering: how much do cigarettes cost in other countries?
Here are the prices for Belgium (taxes included):

3.50 Euro or 3.67 USD / package of 20 cigarettes
4.00 Euro or 4.19 USD / package of 25 cigarettes

Time to stop smoking...

about the same in Californa for Marlboro's... you can get Generic 1's for $2.50 US

£4.50 for 20 (about $7.30)

Damn, I can get them $2.27 a pack at the local cheap cigs store. And the 2.27 is for Camel or Marlboro

They smuggle a lot between Belgium and England...

I pay about $18 or $19 for a carton for my brand.
But if you want something like Marlboro its more like $30 to $35 per carton.
There are a few places here in Houston that I can get my brand for $15 a carton.

Just bought two packs of smokes (for a .20 discount, wow!) yesterday for about $19.00. <---Canada

They are about 8-9$ a pack depending where you buy them.

For a pack of 20 in Scotland it is about £4 at most I think.
I don't smoke but I am pretty sure its around that price

So thats about $6??? give or take a few pence!!!
