New textbooks for Texas
 

I know some of you don't care, but those Texas textbooks are going to your state aswell.

I guess I missed the story. What is up with these textbooks?

they are changing history to make it less "liberal"

any additional info so any of us that don't live in texas have the slightest fucking clue what's going on here?

Basically, this group of inbreds from texas decide what should be and what shouldn't be in the text books of the united states. I think cause their school district is so big they set the rules and textbooks follow.

Then again I could be wrong.

I think that even if a book is not useful for its content, it's still very useful as an exercise that improves your memory. This is what it's all about - an time-measured test will show how much you remember from what you read. Of course, textbooks have some of the best content of all.

Well what are we talking about here? Math? History? science? english? are they doing away with teaching english in schools and just teaching spanish?

christian creation "science" is in the Science book instead of in the Social Studies book where it fucking belongs.

I dont know, I know history for sure. Too lazy to research it right now. I saw John Stewart talk about it.
