Stolen Images

Hope its ok to post this here. If not then please delete.
Came across this blog yesterday.

This guy tells me in his own words, these image sets were *found* on the internet.which gives me the right to use.

Hes not linking back to met art or any other sponsor, hes using linkbucks.com to host the images.

I contacted met art late last night dont know if they got that memo yet.

Some here who know them better then myself may have better luck contacting them to let them know whats going on with their images.

Met-Art's stuff are almost everywhere now, our servers pick up so many that we cant even keep them on our cache any more, anyone has any contact detail for them, We can use that to give them he links our servers pickup.

I guess it comes down to the issue of he's only publishing preview material which if I'm right most company's allow you to distribute these so long as they are used in a way which doesn't put the company to any bad publicity. Looks like he has posted full material from the site but again the age-old "he's not actually hosting them himself, just linking"

Big debate but to be honest, other than serve with a DPMA Take Down Notice (or whatever you call it) or filing big law suits, you can't really do anything. Except use DRM for everything which isn't very customer friendly, nor is it full proof, as I believe that can be hacked these days.
