Stop with the social media crap on your tours
do that with your own traffic NOT affiliates' traffic. your job as a paysite owner is to convert their traffic into sales and do nothing else with it.
what sponsors do you talking about ?
Girls and programs have no clue what they are doing with social media, any girl with facebook references on her website has zero clue what they are doing
Give us some examples :)
nah, i'm not looking to single people out - there are lots of them.
just a few after reviewing one of my sites...
ColdHardCash PreciousCash IHeartBucks XoXoCash JoannaAngelBucks SterlingCash and I agree that shit needs to go in the members section and not the front page of the tour as a traffic leak is a traffic leak, I pay for 100% geo filtered traffic so it shouldn't be going to their twitter account where a sale gets no credit. |
People have been doing that forever, like with yahoo groups. Don't send them traffic, it's simple.
Another traffic leak that needs to be closed. It is okay to do it on your pages that get organic traffic but should not be on a page where affiliate traffic lands.
It's easy enough to have a separate tour for affiliates with no traffic leaks.
We use them on our tours. http://www.savannah-swings.com/tour01.php HOWEVER, we link the social media images to a social page http://www.savannah-swings.com/social.php which is nothing more than a sign-up page. All active links to the social media sites are within the members area. No traffic leaks, affiliates get credit for all sales.
As an affiliate I've always stayed away from programs that have traffic leaks on their tours and no way to avoid them such as an alternate tour. Not only leaks to social sites but review sites, toplists, traffic trades, hardlink trades, and the traffic counters some people are still using. As a program owner I stick to those same standards. No leaks...ever. |
stupid idea

if its not traffic leak ok, but...
Social media should point in, I see little benefit to pointing back to social media, especially in a tour.
