Can Dreamweaver CS5 work with WORDPRESS like an HTML site

Curious if anyone knows if there is a way to set up DREAMWEAVER CS5 to work with a WORDPRESS site like it would an HTML site so you can change site wide links and stuff? Maybe with a testing server or whatever, or even from remote?

Everything lives in the database in wordpress.

Sounds pretty fucking complicated to me.

Dreamweaver should never be used, period. :2 cents::thumbsup

I have DW but only use it in source code window. I love it because of it's handling of different sites/projects, and for it's PHP autocomplete. Also because it has a built-in, easy to use FTP (even if it's a VERY shitty FTP).

There's no shame in using DW in this manner. If your using it as a complete WYSIWYG tool in this day and age, and in this industry, then you have problems.

Not using it as complete WYSIWYG at all. But wondering if it can be used like openX. What's with the PHP autocomplete. Thanks for that. I'll look into that and see if that helps.

Dreamweaver just makes things faster to me. I understand you still need to understand coding slightly, but Adobe has to know WP is the future and it has to figure a way to work with that.
