UUGallery -- Is There Anything Better?
 

Is there any better photo / video gallery plugin for wordpress than UUGallery? Thanks

Simply put, besides hand coding it yourself, no way :) Just my opinion, although I told you this yesterday on ICQ haha.

How good are UUSoftware at keeping it compatible with WP upgrades?

Does it need to talk back with UUSoftware servers for it to run or is it completely standalone?

I'm going to find out how compatible when WP3 comes out in a few weeks. It is completely standalone. It is easy to use and an invaluable tool for blogging. I highly recommend it.

UUGallery is one of the best extensions ever.
And support is great.

I think this was the script that called home to a server in the past. When it went down so did everyones ability to use the script.

per domain licenses have their own license keys and don't talkback to licensing servers

It's not? I would have bought it if it did not require editing of core files.

RoboGallery still works pretty good as a plugin.
