In a summary judgement it has been ruled that Limewire has commited copyright infringement, induced copyright infringement, and engaged in unfair competition. Can this be the end of the beginning or the beginning of the end for content thieves?

This could be a good precedent to use against rapidshare and the likes, as their business models are somewhat similar.

limewire was a relatively easy target given they ran ads in there soft
wonder if dc++ will ever go down - open source, no monetization, p2p, irc like networks and channels (private and public). huge collections of everything. not very intuitive for average Joe but its like underground hub for pirates
