how to determine the price of a hardlink??
hey,
i was wondering how you determine the price of a hardlink? i've been buying some hardlinks, i get various offers from people, some i think are good and others not so. How do you decide if a hardlink is worth its price? Do you look at the sites incoming and outgoing links, PR, traffic, quality, number of pages indexed? Do you think you should not pay more than a certain amount for a hardlink as its just from 1 site? say someone tries to sell you a 1 hardlink from 1 site for 1k a year, is that too much because its still only a link from 1 site? can a link from one site make enough of a difference to be worth that much? i know many factors coming into play here so just looking for some constructive comments :thumbsup |
Good question, but I'm doubtful anyone that has experience pricing and buying links will share.

If you are looking for one way niche links from established sites with ranks and niche traffic, then those will cost you the most money and will help the most. The cost would depend on how many outlinks that site has, how old it is and it's rank/traffic. Some niches are more popular than others and demand more money for the one way backlink juice.
If you are looking for bulk backlinks to get you indexed and get your site weighted with inlinks, then those are about $3 each per year. Bulk is always cheaper. You can bulk backlink your niche site, then, when the 1000's of inlinks add up, you can approach the established, well ranked, same niche sites and show them a snapshot of all your inlinks, with no outlinks, and ask for a link trade. So keep your outgoing links low on your main sites. ~Ray icq 94994627 |

Thanks Ray, great reply.
How many "Inlinks" do you think is a good number, i know it depends on the quality of the inlinks but say same niche inlinks? |
I just think $10 for a life time hard link is okay. However, the site could have some bad issues and the site could go completely out of business and close. There is no such thing as life time hardlinks, I think a site really could close down and go bankrupt and all kinds of things could happen to the site.

i think all depend about rank of links and offer of owner so if you want to buy PR5-6 links that will cost much as i think that not much want to sell such kind of links for small ammount. if you buy Pr1-3 you need to try to make a deal for about 30 - 100$ per year

When i buy and sell links i focus on:
-number of outbound links (to be under 100) -alexa/traffic ranking -niche -PR (the higher, the better) For example if you have a general tube site and if you buy a link from a general PR4 tube site, with about , 5-10k daily uniques, outbound links<20 the price would be (knowing that you will also get traffic, not only link juice) between 10$-20$/month |
