that really is an incredible experience you had there. I know a lot of people, including me, that would love to be able to experience it as well. Great pics but I bet they do not even come close to conveying the feeling you must have had (have)
|
Whoah! That must have been insane! :thumbsup
I guess one on my list would have been the chopper ride past the Hoover Dam and through the Grand Canyon! http://i443.photobucket.com/albums/q...nit/grand1.jpg http://i443.photobucket.com/albums/q...nit/grand2.jpg http://i443.photobucket.com/albums/q...nit/grand3.jpg Oh and swimming with Sharks in the Dominican Republic was pretty special too... :) |

My top 10 are watching my fist baby being born, holding me second one (born via a cesarean I chose not to watch) and Eva coming off life support. |

I know that you may be looking for things a little more serious but I have to believe that
Partying at the Playboy Mansion is probably on a few guy's Top 10 Lists... it was on mine! :pimp http://www.almightycontent.net/2006_...s/IMG_7092.JPG |

nice experience

My best life experience is usually feeling not good enough and then improving myself. The feeling of self improvement is the best life experience.

I'd have to say at least half of my top 10 life experiences occured while serving in the Marine Corps, for most of which I have no photos, just memories. One of my most recent top 10 that I actually have photos of was attending the BMW performance driving school with Allie. We had an opportunity to drive all of BMW's M series cars on a closed track with professional performance driving intructors at the BWM facility located in Greenville, SC. It was really incredible to push those cars to the very limit and in some cases beyond. ;-) Next time you see Allie you'll have to ask about her experience on the skid pad and the infield adjacent to the pad. ;-)

The birth of my children.
Being there when my father passed, donating his organs and knowing that somewhere someone else was alive because of his death. The Grand Canyon (more majestic than grand) and infinately impressive. Having a beer with Mick Jagger in Bali when I was 15 years old. Seeing Emperor Hirohito at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Jan 2 1983 (along with a million other people). Flying into Sydney, Australia as the sun rises over the Pacific...an unbelievable sight. |

1. Surfed Pipeline and Backdoor (oahu) on too many amazing days to even remember.
2. Rafted some of the toughest class 4 and 5 rapids in Patagonia, Chile. 3. Walking into a baseball stadium for the first time. 4. Me + shower curtain lining + 10 bottles of body oil + 4 Montreal escorts x 2 hours Thats all I can think of for now. |

1. birth of my kids 2. the fighter pilot experience a few years back with Steve Lightspeed 3. Sponsoring the first playboy mansion trip 4. spending some time on a friend's yacht in the carribean 5. seeing napa valley/SF via a friend's helicopter and having dinner at the french laundry 6. Experiencing Amsterdam/Prague/Octoberfest for the first time with a bunch of friends and colleagues 7. Seeing the Grand Canyon via helicopter 8. Snorkling/swimming with sharks in Bonnaire/Curacao 9. Sponsering the Pirate Hooker Cruise in Costa Rica with Wegcash 10. Having the ability/opportunity to work in a very amazing industry for as long as I have and making so many great relationships along the way. |

I'm afraid if I went down underneath the ocean in that little sub, I'd freak out cause I couldn't get out of there. Claustrophobia big time.
|
Most of my best experiences are from my traveling past as a photographer:
1. Visit the Pyramids in Giza-Egypt for the first time 2. doing the photography of a wedding couple on a glacier in Alaska 3. passing through the Panama Canal with a cruise ship 4. Vatican (the catedral - St.Peter) and a few other not so dramatic..... |

To be frank, just as hatch was sealed and we were starting to to go down, it was all i could do to stop myself from saying "fuck this i want out!" Then the panic passed. Mainly cause i kept telling myself again and again if i died here at least i lived fearlessly. |
Still waiting for that first amazing experience... Everything so far has just been "ok".
