How to check-in at VENETIAN if you are under 21?

Do they let you or not?

EscortBiz 12-30-2002 03:02 PM

if you look over 21 no problem but if you look under you will most likly be asked for ID

Lane 12-30-2002 03:04 PM

how do other underage webmasters check-in?

multisexsite 12-30-2002 03:06 PM

Tell them you are 21.. throw the bitch at the desk a couple extra 100's

AaronM 12-30-2002 03:08 PM

It is a hotel. They will ask for ID. Not familiar with any laws or rules that require you to be 21 to stay at a hotel. 18...Yeah, but not 21.

Here is an idea.....Call the Venetian and ask.

You can stay at the Venetian even if you're under 21.

macroguru 12-30-2002 04:08 PM

If you are under 21 you can stay, you just can't get out on the gaming floor (Well, not can't, you are not supposed too)

I am 28, and I get ID Checks all the time in Vegas. Last time I was there, I was up $2K at the craps table when the pit boss decided it was time to check my ID. Blew my concentration on the game, and before I knew it, I was back down to $1K

To get in the show you only have to be 18

to gamble you have to be 21

to walk through the casino floor (Staying on the marked path) you can be pretty much any age as long as you are escorted by an adult of 21 or older.

So when you are walking through the casino just grab on to the hottest looking chick around and have her escort you.

Dude, you could check in if you were 12 if you have proper payment info.

Alky 12-30-2002 05:32 PM

a lot of hotels require that you are 21 years of age due to things that happen to the room itself. like damages, etc.

SextrafficPete 12-30-2002 05:35 PM

"a lot of hotels require that you are 21 years of age due to things that happen to the room itself. like damages, etc."

that would be legal liability. and when you hit 18, you are considered an adult, and you pick up this liability :)

18 to stay at hotel, 21 to gamble and drinjk

Pornwolf 12-30-2002 05:56 PM

Guys, I started traveling around the country at 15 unaccompanied. Granted, that was back in the dark ages of the early 90's but not that much has changed.

Living For Today 12-30-2002 07:39 PM

i still find american laws quite unbelievable :1orglaugh

21
hahahahahaha
thats just plain fuckin ridiculous!

robfantasy 12-30-2002 07:45 PM

if u are under 21 and going to vegas, you better buy a fake id, just not like the one nick papadopulus got in national lampoons with some black guy on it..

WiredGuy 12-30-2002 07:50 PM

I believe you just need to be 18 to stay at the casinos. 21 to drink or play the casinos (carded when drinking or playing). The weirdest thing I had to go thru was being carded at Internext convention, I mean what the hell? I was never hassled at the casinos but entering the convention I was carded to make sure I was at least 18? Weird...

just to make it clear:

I have received the Reservation Confirmation from Venetian.

They do allow anyone 13+ to stay in the hotel. But it says right here: "Guest must be a minimum of 21 years of age to check in the hotel"

So i was wondering if anyone else here went there by himself/herself and was under 21, and how did you bypass this rule?

RedShoe 12-30-2002 10:02 PM

dude. hit me up when you get there, I'll be you're check in.

Lane 12-30-2002 10:06 PM

oh thanks... how can i reach you? are you gonna be there on the 5th?

RedShoe 12-30-2002 10:49 PM

if you need me there on the 5th, I'll be there on the 5th.
You can call my cell.

I've used it twice in 2 years. The first time was at the Vegas show 2 years ago, and the 2nd time was when India was born. I don't know the #, but I'll get it for you .

baddog 12-31-2002 01:28 AM

yep, heard all the Vegas hotels with casinos require a 21 or older person in each room. They don't really want you there if you can't gamble. You are just taking up space. Very valuable space.

DarkJedi 12-31-2002 01:35 AM

I been to Vegas when i was 15. I had no problems playing slot machines at MGM etc. I'd snoop around BJ, roulette and craps tables to see how rich people loose money - no one ever asked me for ID.
