Funny story, I had to share...Regarding Shap's Thread.
 

As I wrote in Shap's thread, I said that when I ask my friends where they buy their porn online, they always tell me one of the big free tubes.

So I pick up someone today I haven't seen in about 10 years, he tells me that he heard I was in the Adult Business and said I shouldn't be ashamed of it. I said I'm not, then he said, I'm actually proud of you, with all the free porn you can get nowadays, why would anyone pay for it. He isn't even web savvy.

Maybe we should all ask 5 new friends and see what they say. And log them here. Anyone down?

I know a guy who's a total computer noob, used to be forever joining sites and then working out how to cancel come creditcard statement day, once he had 7 memberships going ;) gay buddy of my fag hag wife. Recently he brought an Ipod and wanted to know how to get music on it, so I went over and setup and showed him how to buy music. when there I asked about the porn site problems... He smiled and proudly he had discovered tubes and had not joined a site nor had a reason to since. Good news is he still buys online, but just not porn.. thats free now.

Everyone who's said that to me, or something similar, has usually always followed it up with something like "I know they won't bang my cc, or install spyware, etc etc". They'll mention a couple of tubes where they got spyware then they "found a good one".

Most of the people I know aren't really concerned either way about free vs pay. They're concerned about dropping $150 @ the local PC shop to get the virus'/spyware removed.

And that's when I tell them URL's of sites I trust. I can look in the CCBill admin right now and see about 30 names I recognize. :winkwink:

However, I do know a lot of free loader college kids who'll only look at youporn/pornhub, etc. I know just as many people who don't "mind" paying as long as they get their money's worth, too.

I find it funny that a lot of people flip about the 9mill/day pornhub gets...


There's 6 billion people in the world. That's really not a whole lot in the big picture. I fucking love me some porn(obviously) and I can't even begin to get off on a tube.

Could be my "good" side kicking in, though.

All my friends are in porn. lol

Focus on protecting your content, get rid of site rips etc.. that's worse than tubes.

How many funny stories are you going to replicate today?

I went to a wedding 2 months ago and all of the guys knew i shot porn. They all had questions for me and were very interested in what i had to say. I asked them what kind of porn do you like, i asked? I was then given a list of tube sites.


To make things worse i had a group of 35 guys and all of them listed there favorite tube sites and was told that none of them pay for porn because its free.


5 out of the 35 guys got there cards banged out and dont trust pay sites. 15 more had friends who had cards banged out and heard that pay sites are not to be trusted.


And the last 15 said why pay when its free.


I was so pissed and so blown away but worked on keeping my composure because i was about to start swinging on people.But o swing on a whole party would not have been the right move. This was very random in the state of Kentucky.
