If you shave your nuts, you MUST ensure that once they are clean shaven, they remain that way. IF you let that ball hair come back, it is going to be one mean motherfucker. I have been shaving my balls since the 7th grade. I would never go back to being hairy.

Yes, it fucking itched like hell when it started coming back in. Now if it gets longer than 1/4" it is uncomfortable and itches a bit too.
