I have flash media server on my server that we use for streaming our members area movies. So I use it along with adobe live media encoder here at the source. And that's it. :)

Yeah, we do this first part on the tour and members area simultaneously. And then in about 15 minutes or so we switch to members only area for the wilder part of the show

So it gets a few new members every week as well as helping on retention of course

Does one server handle all the members and the load? It really does look high quality.

Yes, I have a bad ass server...but quite honestly it barely touches the cpu of the server. Streaming video puts the load mostly on the computer viewing it as opposed to the server that is streaming it.

I have 8 gigs of ram on my server but we've never used more than 15 to 20% of the cpu at the most.

You know, you should make this available for other affiliate programs to use for upsales. Put that in their members area and have a link to your site. Bam !!!

I have offered this in our affiliate emails to anybody. Whether it be as an upsell in your members area or on the main page of a free site. So far nobody has ever written me and asked for it.

I try to do everything the best it can be. I use a Panasonic AG 100DV pro camcorder for the "webcam" so it starts off with great quality before it even streams, and I have Kino diva lights lighting it up. And as you can see the aluminum trussing from my old band set up allowed me to make her a really nice set right here on the far side of my office.
