I don't go apeshit on Mother's Day. I usually do wine, dark chocolate, GC's for restaurants, and of course flowers.

Thats valentines day lol! Agreeing with Juicy that a day at the spa is great.

I usually do the nice flowers from a florist & a card. Always appreciate your mother, hey we would never have been here if it wasnt for them :thumbsup


Why is mothers day a different day in the UK to the US?

She has everything,all she wants is to spend time with you.I'm taking mine out for dinner and giving her flowers

valentines day, birthdays, mothers day, xmas, anniversary...... sometimes i miss the single life.

going to a luncheon with my friend and our daughters. looking forward to a nice day with other moms to hang out. when my daughter asked me what i wanted for mothers's day i asked her to make me a coupon booklet that includes things like "good for...: 1 catbox cleaning, 1 dog walk, 1 night of doing dishes, 1 bathroom cleaning etc. i would appreciate that more than anything she could ever buy me :)

I'm sure I could make you a coupon book too .............

Taking mom to her favorite restaurant for dinner, lovely bunch of her favorite flowers (which luckily aren't roses), and some QT with her favorite children.

moms love this stuff.. lol

I did the spa thing last year and gonna do it again....
it's pretty damn easy - just call and pay, that's all :)
